The guys wanted to play music different to that they played before and they had no clear vision of the style, genre and sound to be. First riffs made clear that new music will be based on math (polyrhythmic/polymetric) elements, experience metal/jazz/fusion influences and have melodic guitar solos. Guys began to record new tracks as well as looking for a second guitarist. During the record process the band tried a lot of experiments with sound, which influenced further composing a lot.
In 2010 Alexander joined the band as the second guitar player. The same year 'Dragon' EP (containing 4 tracks) was released. The band started with live shows, playing the material of 'Dragon', Ephel Duath cover and a few new things. These new things gave life to the second album 'Soundgraphia', which was composed and recorded through 2011 and was released January, 2012 . The conception of this album was found in musical 'geomarks', which is reflected in the album title. Guys tried to make entire album sound like a single track with a variety of tunes, moods and atmospheres connected to different places of the Earth.
Despite the fact that both albums are instrumental, Dog Drama try to find a vocalist. The main idea of composition's organisation is neither a 'song' scheme nor a chaotic lack of structure, but the inner logic of every piece under which each pattern develops into the next one without being repeated again within the track as a rule.
