Anima Music Biography
Ali Calderwood - producer/composer/instrumentalist
Daniela Broder - vocalist/songwriter/guitarist

Anima is a UK born duo consisting of Ali Calderwood and Daniela Broder. They have both spent a number of years living with indigenous elders and healers, studying ancient ways of ceremony, spirit medicine, yoga and the use of sacred sound.

In 2006 Ali joined with Daniela while travelling in Mexico and they began to create and perform music as a duo. Later that year, after spending time individually in different parts of the Americas they re-joined in Peru and while living in the Amazon jungle and later the Andes, they created their first collaborated album, 'Lemuria Emerging'.

Anima are currently based in the UK, and continue to travel around the world offering concerts and workshops dedicated to the healing and awakening of consciousness through sacred sound, ceremony and prayer.
