Many would recognize Aimee Lynn Chadwick from her acting roles in movies and television shows like A Cinderella Story, Disney's PROM, The Mentalist, The Forgotten, The Closer, Las Vegas, and Rizzoli & Isles but she's an up and coming Los Angeles based musician as well.
MOVING ACROSS THE COUNTRY FOR A DREAM
Aimee Lynn Chadwick's story in professional music and acting began when she moved from Massachusetts to Los Angeles with only a dream and a hundred bucks in her pocket. As a true artist striving to find her way, Aimee Lynn found herself living on couches and even in an office at one point until she could get a break. Her dedication finally paid off in 2003 when she landed a supporting role in the feature film A Cinderella Story as a quirky/punky, 'shock jock' named 'DJ Astrid.'
Aimee Lynn's acting career continued to grow through independent and major motion pictures; most notable, leads in both Return of the Living Dead 4 & Return of the Living Dead 5 which filmed back-to-back in Romania and assured her a seat at any Horror convention! More recently Aimee Lynn starred in the independent feature All American Orgy and Disney’s PROM.
While making a living as an actress, Aimee Lynn's music career began to evolve as she found herself working as a solo artist and as part of several music projects. She was seen on big stages opening for pop artists like Mandy Moore and Vitamin C. She fronted the punk band Angels to Some and had a brief stint with Purple Planet. Aimee Lynn collaborated with producer London Thompson to create her first solo album GENERATION NEXT (2003) and later toured the US with her band The Charles Shaw Project (2005-2006). In 2008 Aimee became a singer for the project Blue Rose Harlots, an ongoing musical collaboration that includes some of Hollywood’s top musical talents.
Aimee Lynn currently plays Los Angeles area venues including the House of Blues, Genghis Cohen and The Other Door.
