Massimiliano Gusmini (born 13 July 1972), better known by his stage name Maxoon, is an Italian songwriter, record producer and DJ. His debut single Love on Emergency, was released in 1995, as 'Beat Around the Bush', a disco project with Franco Rago and Gigi Farina (a famous duo of 80s: the AtelierFolie). His second studio single with his friend Cat Paradox (Michele Monestiroli), Be My Lover (2004) 'Pyroclastic', reached number twenty on the Japan Albums Chart.

In June 2005, Maxoon released his third studio single 'Phenomenon', and continuos the cooperation with Cat Paradox, which contained a very cool Vocalizer on the lead voice as a Keyboards.

The last single with Cat Paradox was Love is not for Sale with the name of 'Beatcrashers'. Maxoon has also written and produced tracks for other recording artists, theme songs for Tv Shows, Movies and Cartoons. Maxoon released his fourth studio singles Left to my own devices on October 2014. A Pet Shop Boys cover.
